Braids

After their bath, Cloie saw as I was braiding Rosa's hair and wanted me to do her's too. Braids are interesting to do on anyone's hair when you are out of practice but especially wiggly little girls... Tina was surprised that Cloie let me since she usually doesn't want anything done to her hair. It is a special blessing to have your hands in lovely blond locks... just loving the little ones as you help them get ready for a day of adventure and fun...

Enough pictures... I'm outta here

Birdies

Aunt Alicia bought the girls birds that make the actual sound of the bird. Cloie got a woodpecker and Rosa got a crow. They had so much fun with them.

They were looking for birds...
pretending to be birds...

Angel Girls

5/09
Rosa and Cloie had fun playing with the angel in the cemetery. They felt right at home since they are little angels themselves. Cloie and Rosa have such a sweet relationship. They are like sisters. When Rosa was younger she would say that Cloie is her sister and when we told her she is her cousin, she said, 'She is my sister-cousin.'

Mother's Day

I love being a mom ~ hugs, kisses, love and presents too!

Yeah Me. Mom helped Rosa get me these great flowers and they are displayed in a cool glass bowl that I can use for serving.

Rosa picked out this card.

And she made this one at school...

a beautiful piece of her art.

More May

Cutie Curls... Mema noticed that Rosa's hair was cute and that she loves all of the curls.

She was being a little camera ham.

Rosa and Bo
Rosa made a bed that her and Bo were playing with. They are so cute together. AWWW...

Owie Face

May 2009
Yeow! Rosa was playing at school and got tripped up on the concrete. It was very reminiscent of my accident on the concrete when I was five... and I skidded the side of my face. I don't know how she managed to get under her chin, next to her mouth and close to her eye. All I can say is it must have been a sight.

She was a big brave girl. Mommy didn't even have to come pick her up. She went to the nurse and got bandaged and I got a call about it. My heart was sad that my little had an accident but she of course was her happy/sassy lil self.

Last Day

Last Day of School

By the end of the year, Rosa could get on the swing by herself :~)

Wow, Rosa's shadow of her legs looks about at long as they are in real life...

We loved Alta Vista and are very thankful for all that it gave to us. Rosa learned independence as being one of the older in her class. Being a role model to the younger kids helped her to come out of her little shell.
